I’m Bianca Thompson and am currently an associate professor at Westminster University. I am a graduate of UH Mānoa (PhD in mathematics) and Wellesley College (BA in mathematics).

This is me!
My research is at the intersection of number theory and discrete dynamical systems. Here are some arxiv links to some of my papers and where they appear:

Creating an inclusive environment is important to me. I want students to know that they belong here and I do everything I can to make that happen. Have any resources you like to share with me to accomplish this, feel free to send them to me at bthompson [at] westminsteru [dot] edu!
I want to help share opportunities with students from underrepresented groups. I co-advise or SACNAS chapter at Westminster and I have become an Alliance undergraduate mentor and my information can be found here: https://mathalliance.org/mentor/bianca-thompson/.
My current hobbies include reading fantasy novels, playing dungeons and dragons, and learning 14th century long sword in the Schola Saint George. To find out more about swords here’s the website: SSG.
